Nestled in New South Wales’s prestigious Pymble, the Bourje Residence draws inspiration from resort sanctuary classical design blending timeless architecture theme masterfully adapted to embrace its natural surroundings providing a sense of timeless luxury mimic the traditional olden days living.
Bourje Residence is conceived as a contemporary interpretation of classical residential architecture, where proportion, rhythm and material expression establish a refined and enduring architectural identity. The composition is defined by a balanced arrangement of solid and void, articulated through a restrained palette of natural stone, arched openings and finely detailed masonry that reinforce the building's sense of permanence and civic presence. Curvilinear forms soften the otherwise symmetrical façade, creating a dialogue between classical order and contemporary expression.
The planning strategy is informed by spatial hierarchy, natural light and functional clarity. Public and private domains are carefully organised to provide intuitive circulation while maintaining visual and acoustic separation between family living and entertaining spaces. Generous openings, elevated terraces and deep recesses strengthen the relationship between the interior and the surrounding landscape, allowing daylight, ventilation and framed garden views to shape the daily experience of the home. The basement level accommodates vehicle access and ancillary functions, preserving the quality of the ground plane and reinforcing the prominence of the landscaped setting. Landscape architecture is integrated as an extension of the built form, employing formal planting, structured geometry and water elements to establish a cohesive arrival sequence. Collectively, the architectural language, spatial planning and landscape design articulate a residence that balances classical permanence with contemporary patterns of living.
